Everyone watched with heavy hearts as Viola challenged the sorceress  to battle, Viola did not want anyone to see how insecure she really was. Inside the cold and confident exterior was panic and self doubt Helena was considered the most wanted witch alive how was she supposed to compete with that? But she had to make it up to Heatwave if it weren’t for her he would be hanging out with Frost and enjoying a can of coke in his house instead he is on the cold bedsheets of the infirmary with one foot in death’s door.

Viola smirked “ What are you waiting for lets fight you old witch

Helena laughed  “ Lets see what you got”

Viola pulled out her violin and began to play the vibrations hit Helena causing her to fall backwards into her own technique Viola began to quicken her speed as her eyes glowed purple

“ Light magic: Oil slick quicksand release!”

“Hahaha you think you won didn't you but it is only the beginning “.Helena said as she seeping into the ground  

“ You can’t catch what you can’t see” she said as she zapped Viola’s eyes and ran towards the waterfall dissipating into the mist. Void glared at her as she past them he tried running after her only to be zapped down onto the dirt Helena hurt his body and his ego how can someone so old be able to evade his attacks as if they were a poke on the shoulder, It wasn’t fair he worked hard to get to where he was and this woman is making a mockery of his skills.

“Oh no” Viola said with panic

“What happened “! Heatwave said

“She lasered my eyes I can't’ see anything and I did not bring my contact lenses “. Viola said as she collapsed on the ground opening and closing her eyes trying to focus them but it was no use her vision was gone all she was darkness she turned her head when she heard someone rush to her side and grab her hand she pulled back at first but then recognized the figure as Void by his magic energy he had a lot of power.

“You wear glasses “! Void said with shock as he helped her up.

“I wil explained later but right now we have to beat this girls butt “. Viola said

“Okay lets do it “. Said Void

Void summoned a portal and grabbed Viola as they went underground in search of Helena the ground was dark and wet with dead leaves and moss mole rats scattered around the tunnels in search of food  Viola screamed and held him tight Void tried to fight the redness sizing to his cheeks.Viola had never felt her heartbeat as it was not even though she could not see his face she got a joyous and overwhelming feeling course through her veins she had never felt as safe with anyone.

“ Viola are you okay “?  He asked her

“Where are we? “She asked

“We are underground trying to find Helena”. He replied

“Do you have a plan?”

Void smiled nervously  “Not at the moment but I am sure I can come up with something”.

Suddenly there was a loud thud from underground and a chorus of evil laughter and a loud scream Up above Heatwave was trying to fight off Helena’s ambush but she was incredibly strong but he had to buy time for Void and Viola but how could he get them back to the surface Heatwave looked at Helena’s magic hammer and go an idea it was incredibly stupid but if it worked he would have back up he let himself get hit by Helena’s hammer he let out a scream of pain.

“Heatwave” ! Void screamed

“I'm fine just stop Helena “.he screamed back as he picked up his sword that was thrown on the ground when he got hit with her hammer and dusted himself off.

She has got to have weakness. He thought

Void created a portal to the top and punched Helena right in the face as he grinded his teeth with frustration and panic . He looked around the forest for a object he could use as a weapon but all he saw was a bunch of useless sticks and rocks he was desperate but not that desperate there has got to be a way to defeat her.

What  if she uses her oil slick again will Viola have enough strength to stop it again no I can’t let that happen I got to figure out a way to subdue her powers she has got to have a crack in her armor somewhere...he thought

“So you create portals “. Helena

“My name is Void duh did you think I was named that because I have a cold heart “.! Void snapped back

“I sure did”. said Heatwave under his breath

“Shut up Heatwave”! he shouted to Heatwave  as he glanced at him he was too hurt from his injuries to lift up his head all the way so he did not see how hurt Heatwave was. Viola gasped in shock  He looked at her with confusion she sighed and then pointed at Heatwave  He took a deep breathe and then gasped as he looked at Heatwave


“Dude you are really badly hurt are you okay you look like are going to pass out.”

Heatwave smirked now he thought as he pretended to be lightheaded .Heatwave was trying to keep himself steady he felt extremely dizzy his vision was fading in and out “ I'm fine he said weakly and then fell flat on his back.  Heatwave tilted his head ever so slightly to look at his friend's reaction Heatwave closed his eyes and focused   “ Steel fire trap” he murmured


“Heatwave you bitch”!  Void said as looked at her with rage  and ran up to Helena, Helena smiled at him and laughed “ When will kids learn adults are always faster stronger “.  as she hit Void on the neck and he fell backwards He struggled to his feet and then said,

“Really”? Void said trying to hold in his laughter he had a brilliant idea but Heatwave would have to work with him to make it work.  He walked over to Heat and tapped him lightly on the shoulder he gasped for breath and then looked around  “How long was I out? “.

“Five  minutes but do not worry Helena is nowhere in sight I think she is invisible so I need your help locating her”.

Heatwave smirked  “ I know that look Void what are you thinking ?”  Void whispered in his ear and Heatwave gasped and tried to hold in his laughter.

“What are you boys doing”?  Viola asked with anger  She wanted to know what they were planning

“You will see “. Void said as he charged up his gray magic energy  and shot a beam up into the air creating  a barrier around Heatwave and Himself Viola gasped

Do they plan on sacrificing themselves...no I can not let that happen !

“What are you doing  this is suicide I can't let you guys do this alone”!

“I do not want you to get hurt with your vision gone you will be a liability just sit down and relax we will handle this “. Void said

“Fine do what you want but if things go wrong I Am going to help just because I'm blind doesn’t mean I can’t see”.Viola said with desperation

“Alright lets do this I wanted to save this for the gateway kingdom but I need it “Said Void as he pulled out a bow and arrow

“What the a portal bow where did you get that ! “ Heatwave said with surprise

A portal bow is a bow and arrow that can create portals with the arrows or make openings to a different dominion and only works with someone with transportation powers. And are really hard to find because it takes so long to make them.

He shot a arrow at the waterfall, Void heard a scream of alarm he got tired of Helena and her game so he used his invivo vision which sees threw cloaking abilities.in adittion to creating portals Viod can minic someone eles voice and see in any demintion. making him a deadly foe.

Void smirked as she ran up and raised her fist while jumping in the air, Void caught her fist she looked at him with shock and tried to counteract Viod’s hand but she found herself stuck Void looked up in alarm as Heatwave pushed him away and raised his hands up in the air as a volcanic box appeared and trapped Helena inside. Heatwave looked at the box with a look of contemplation and surprise she was resisting she should not be able to move the gas in the box is supposed to subdue her he thought  suddenly just when all hope seemed lost the gas kicked in and paralyzed Helena but surprisingly it was not the gas that stopped her but the smell of it Heatwave almost forgot about her allergy of scented things.

Void smirked  You planned this from the beginning

Heatwave blushed nervously “ Yeah I knew I could not attack her with her more focused on defeating you and Viola so I let her attack me and beat me up that way she would think I was not worth her time giving me the advantage leaving open to attack her. “

Void and Heatwave smiled and then shook hands “ Well Heat i will see you later I can not stay out of my body for too long or i will die try to wake up before it is too late”.

Heatwave frowned “ How”!

Void looked down at him as he faded in and out “ I can not tell you but you will know when the time is right”.

Viola smiled and then said “I have to go to take care Heat you can continue your training without me I used up all my energy I know you can do it practice with the sword I gave you”.

Heatwave nodded as he watched Viola go he was completely alone Helena vanished inside the box to be delivered to the cosmic where she will be charged for her crimes it all worked out in the end I just hope Frost is okay  he thought worriedly

Meanwhile Gwen -D and the others were entering the danger zone they could not turn back now not when they came this far

Frostbite was eating a bag of dried fruit she brought with them for the journey she offered some to Gwen-D but she shook her head and handed the bag back to Frost.

“I'm fine Frost , Did Void wake up yet Gwen - D asked

“Yeah I'm awake I was not asleep I was meditating”  he said as he got off the cart that Gwen -D got from the tribe man that visited earlier to carry their food water and other things they brought.

“So are we almost there”?  said Void

“Yeah we are not heading to my folks house right away we are making a pit stop a girl around our age runs a hotel inside the dangerzone her house is next door .She is also a really powerful enchantress she could help guide us to the safest path when we get to the fork in the road there are four different ways but we can only choose one.”  Said Gwen -D as she looked down at the map of the danger zone marking places they had been to already so they can find their way back.

“Cool , so who is this enchantress “? Void asked

“ Her name is Viola Vin said Rabe as he showed Void a picture of her and she is not bad looking either “.

Void looked at the picture in shock Its her he thought with a blush this was going to be interesting

Frostbite looked at him with mild amusement and said “ It looks like Void agree with you Rabe”.

Void turned red and said  “No Don't be stupid”.
