Frostbite Chapter 10   Kliwat and Void The jerks step up

Frostbite and the gang had packed up their journey anxiously awaiting the day  they would make it home.  where are they going you ask? They are headed for the Gateway Kingdom, to obtain the flower of Reality to awake Heatwave from his coma. He tried to save Frostbite from her night terrors. They have been walking for days; with little food and water and they use up four week
supply of food and water Reina panted  and exclaimed " It so hot! as fanned  as herself with her own hand  in try to cool herself down but it did not help.  "Quiet I'm trying to figure  out where we are"! snapped Frostbite wiping the sweat off her forehead  while  looking at the map and sighed" Well we are way out of cellphone range  my phone can not calibrate our coordinates" she said in frustration



"Great". said Void as he was playing angry birds on his phone.
frostbite growled angry and took his phone and said you could  us find out help where we are go instead of playing angry birds"; Void smirked  as he snacked his phone from frost and what fun would that be"

"Do you want me to freeze your ass". she exclaimed

"Oh sure go right away it so hot".  he said as he turned around his butt facing Frostbite.

Frostbite rolled her eyes and said  "I was joking".

"I thought so".he said

They were in a sandy desert  plain near Megaton they needed to get moving  they are trying as best as they  could but lava was not kidding when she said the journey took along  time they have been moving for 2 months now and they were totally wiped out.

"We are running out of options here". said Gwen - D as she glanced at Frostbite with hope

Why don't we just teleport their said Danny

"We can't". said Frostbite

"Why"? everyone else said with confusion

"Because you see those pink rays around the sky that is a power reflector barrier. Meaning if we do use the Vertigo teleportation we will be knocked down from the sky and get a electric current through our bodies". said Frostbite

Fuck thought Kliwat

"Wait Kliwat the rays might not affect you because you have electric powers ". said Buddy

Everyone facepalmed How could they be so stupid?

Okay everyone hold on tight Kliwat said confidently as they all grabbed him as he shouted "Vertigo". as they were lifted  into the air Frostbite felt the adrenaline rush through veins as they took flight. As they spun like a reverse tornado in the sky heading upwards instead of down. And evaporated into  thin air  as traveled through the portal there speed picked up and said " We are about to begin our descent  thank you for choosing air Kliwat".he said with humor.

Despite Kliwat's ability to withstand the electric currents they did not succeed in their attempt to transfer to the Gateway Kingdom .They landed in some forest with a wide gate to their left with a village on the other end of the gate filled plants.Gwen-D looked around the forest with excitement they were not that far from her parents house all they would have to do is camp out for six days and try to avoid the Danger Zone and they will be there on foot and head for the transfer room.

"Great now where are we"? asked Danny

Gwen-D reached over to the gate on the far left and said "Welcome Ladies and gentlemen to Crop city". she said as put her finger on the fingerprint scanner and then the door opened

"Whoa". Everyone exclaimed Gwen-D smiled and whispered "Mom dad I'm home ".

Tall Skyscrapers as far as the eye could see with large Felids and orchids along the rooftops and sides of the windows. The City was a mixture of old fashioned and futuristic  with farmers and old style Village retail huts, Flying cars and Transporting stations.

"So this is where you live how do you get to school on time if you live this far from Bite City". Rabe asked He had been silent on the journey people had tried to get him to talk but he had been silent since Void mouthed him off.

"I take a transporter home hey what is wrong with Void he looks really pissed off ". everyone glanced at Void with concern he seemed to be in deep thought everyone wanted to help but did not want to get on his bad side and decided to let him cool down Rabe looked at him with a knowable look he must be thinking about what happened 4 days ago.

It was four days ago and they were passing by Herman city with great haste they did not have time for sit backs Rabe and the gang did not have any food or water for 5 days they were starting to get irritable and desperate But none of them were as tired and irritable as Void

While everyone else was hoping that the journey would end at any moment Rabe was having the time of his life pranking everyone and making their trip as entertaining as possible everyone was starting to get annoyed and wanted him to stop. But they were too tired plus they did not have the power to tell him to stop but the one he kept picking on the most was Void and that was his first mistake his second was continuing to annoy the gangs iceberg . Not even Frost could measure up to Viod's ability to terrorize people especially when he was tired only a fool would do that.

"Poke Ha Poke ".Rabe said as he poked Void in the shoulder repeatedly with great force his shoulder was starting to bruise from the amount of times he was being subject to his juvenile torture.  

Viod's blood was starting to boil he was starting to get annoyed and it isn't the fact that Rabe had pranked him and others since their journey had started but the fact it seems like everything was a joke to him he treats things as if they are his source of entertainment and pressure and he treats the annoyance of others as if it was a game But this is real Heatwave is dieing and they need that flower to heal him  to help him find himself and wake up.

Void glared at the memory but tried to take Jake's advice and drop it but his temper has been unusually high lately perhaps from the stress of saving Heatwave knowing if they fail it might cost their lives he might never be able to argue with Danny he might never be able to look into Frostbite's ice blue eyes. Like that even matters Heatwave did not deserve what happened to him Void did ever since he reunited with Frost bad things have been happening.  He glanced over at Rabe with anger his silence was even more annoying then when he was poking him he had not said anything in four days it was really start to annoy him. Rabe felt Viod's eyes on him and turned to look at him with confusion as he ran up,pinned him near a tree and said  "What the fuck is your problem" !  Rabe glared at Viod and thought ...

This guy is so confusing he tells me to keep silent yet when I do he gets offended this guy needs anger management..

"My Problem I am not the one pinning someone to a tree because I want to use my superiority complex to relief my anger and take it out on someone who does not deserve it.". Snapped Rabe

everyone looked at him in shock Rabe hardly ever rose his voice it would have to take a lot to get the goofball of the gang related up in a pit of uncontrollable rage. Void let him go and then backed off. "Whatever".

"I thought this what you wanted you have should have been more clear next time you tell someone to take a hike you bastard!". Rabe yelled as he stood up and glared at him Void looked at him sadly and glanced at Jake he nodded  "It is time you tell them Void what has been on your mind since you agreed to this tell them what you told me".  

Void nodded and said,

"What I wanted , What I want is to live have you ever considered we might not make it back alive I would rather go back to Reina kicking my ass at least I was in Bite city, Bite city is all I know I never have left Bite city before .

I never needed to my friends and family were always close by now I might never get the chance to know what real love is like ,I might never go back home to my mother I can remember the last thing I said to her was so cynical ,so uncalled for that it made my stomach turn ;she did not deserve the way I treated her .Nobody deserves the way I treat people. I was a asshole all I cared about was my friend Jake and my PS3 when I looked back on how I treated Frost and Danny and how despite everything I did to them they still give me a smile and acknowledge my existence. When I  turned my back on the best friends I ever had I did not come  for Heatwave I came to help rebuild my friendship with Danny and Frost because they deserve it. ".

"I really do not know what to say about that but I have some advice to you It is better to see things in a humorous light and live life to its fullest then to act serious and feel defeated and dead inside wishing your life could have been better it is never too late to do the right thing Void.". Said Rabe as he patted Viod's back and walked away to have some time on his own.

Void looked at him in shock Where did he get that from who knew the goofball had wisdom..

"Dude what was that"? asked his best friend he had been his friend middle school he helped Void avoid his bullies and get beat up despite his history with  tail quen do. He still got beat tremendously by the popular kids for being a geek. He once was like Rabe he once joked around and was quite friendly but then everything changed he had joined peters and had a falling out with Frost and Danny.Yet fate has brought them back together again why for what purpose is god mocking him ?Is this a test to see if he could face his past mistakes and try to make them right again by saving a friend of Frost's hard to decide.But he was willing to find out even if it costs him his life.

"Fine I will give a chance but if you so much as make farting noises in my ear or do your momma jokes I will crush you got it ".

Rabe gulped and nodded when Void was out of sight he stuck his tongue out at him and thought If only he knew my true power he would be the one begging me

Jake the name of his best friend shook his head looked at Void sternly " Really why are you being  a dick to everyone'.


"Because I didn't think so many people for Shockwave ".!

"It is Heatwave ".

"Whatever what is the difference'." said Void as he walked away from him.
Jack rolled his eyes and said Nevermind under his breath and followed his firend.

Meanwhile with Kliwat

"Arrah". He Shouted with anger as he threw another tree up in the air and shocked it with his powers.

"I wish that was Gwen - D". he said with satisfaction

"That is not very nice thing to say about another person". said a voice

"Who are you"? He said as he scanned around the forest

"Don't tell me that I have been gone that long  that you do not remember me  bro". the voice said

Kilwat looked up at the tree to his left with a smile "Electron . ".  He said as he transported to the top of the tree and hugged him tightly. Electron gasped for breath and said Bro I can not breathe  Kliwat let go and blushed  with embarrassment.  "Sorry".

"So what brings you here".? He asked his brother

"I work here how is your girlfriend ".He asked Kliwat

Kliwat looked down and said "It did not work out ".

"Why"?

"She cheated on me twice". said Kliwat

"Well that is not good". said Electron

"No shit". said Kliwat

"Obviously you still love her".

"No I hate her I hate her got it". He said trying to convince himself he hated her.

"Convincing yourself you hate here is not gonna help you move on  you need to talk to her". he pointed out to Kliwat.

"Hell no she is a whore ".Kilwat Roared so loudly that a few birds flew away from the tree. Electron looked at his brother and shook his head.

"Better a whore then a Murder is what I always say"..

"But she is". said Kilwat

"To whom"? asked Electron

"To my heart". Kliwat sulked as he clenched his his chest for effect.

Award silence  

I knew it was a bad idea to let him take drama but did ma listen no thought Electron

"You see this right here . he said as he gestured to Kliwat's depressed form. This is why mom said you were not ready to have a relationship ".he said

"Whatever". Kliwat said to his brother and kicked a branch with frustration.

Suddenly they heard a twig snap they immediately turned around towards  the commotion weapons ready for combat. Suddenly the trees vines started to sway wild bark crumpled to reveal sharp teeth it let out demonic roar .What the fuck Thought Kliwat

"What time is it"? said Electron

"What does that have to do with anything"! Yelled Kliwat as he was caught by a tree vine and thrown  in tree's mouth before it could swallow he stood up and held its front jaw forcing it to stay open.

"The plants turn  carni furious  at night so we need to get out of the forest at a cern time to avoid getting eaten"..

"No Pressure their ".said Kliwat as he held the jaw open he focused   in his hands making lighting come from his hands shocking  the tree forcing it to open its mouth wide Kliwat took his opportunity to get out safety. Something was wrong usually his brother would comment on one of his puns and tell him whether or not it was the best thing to say in the current situation but he did not say anything he turned back to see his brother pinned down to a base of a tree tied up with vines he sweated nervously and said "Help me Brother".

Kliwat ran towards his little brother going from practical joker to protective older brother in a matter of seconds. He jumped dogged a few trees vines and  noticed they had enipeas of an unknown substance hidden in the vines which had very wide and dangerous thorns that  contained poison you grab a single strand of the vines and you are dead.

He needed to think about his properly he closed his eyes and focused on dogging. Kliwat had a unique quality that the rest of the group did not have Night vision and heatseeking eyes that were born from a skating accident .He was just skating down the hall avoiding the teachers that were chasing him when he turned around to boast about the fact they could not catch him feeling very cocky and proud of his success in dogging the teachers.

But little did he know a kid was carrying a dangerous batch of chemicals for chemistry class .By the time realized what was happening it was too late the chemicals spilled all over him , His vision blurred he felt a surge of energy down his body his hair turned purple, and his muscles increased. When he awoke the next day from then on he was no longer Kliwat the prankster he was Kliwat the electric defender .

He stopped all kinds of criminals but the one criminal he could not defeat was Mr. Peters .He was too fast for him he looked right into Kliwat's eyes and said  "You posses a lot of promise but if you come and work for me I will help you improve." Kilwat did not know what to do he knew Mr Peters was a bad dude but it was either he join him or die so he just joined Mr Peters council.

He pulled out throwing Knives from his holster with confidence they were purple knives that had the japanese kanji symbol for strength ,honor, and friendship written on them .The handles had jagged edged and took the shape of lighting he concentrated his electric powers into the knives and aimed towards the vines that held his brother captive as they hit their mark volts of lightning shot at the vines. They dropped Electron and charged towards Kliwat. Kliwat smirked " Come and get me you overgrown weed"! he touted  they tried to grab him he summer sulted ,dogged and front flipped out of the way. and then stuck his tongue at the coniferous tree it roared and then the ground became to shake . Kliwat turned around and gasped the tree was climbing out of its roots and headed straight for him. Crap he thought  He had many ideas of how he would die but being killed by a tree was definitely not what he had in mind.

Meanwhile with the rest of the gang Gwen -D was talking with Mirk when suddenly she heard a scream , she collapsed and clutched her head as her eyes glowed green everyone rushed to her side.

"Gwen -D what is wrong". said Reina

"Kliwat is in danger I have to go ". Said Gwen -D as Frostbite held her up .

"By yourself I think someone should go with you".said Frostbite

"I will be okay Frost  if I am not back in ten minutes send whoever you want but for now I am going to do this by myself". said Gwen -D


"Vertigo'. she shouted as she disappeared in a swirl of leaves.
"Don't just stand their help me". said Kliwat as he dogged the vines and thorns.

Electron looked him with amused expression said "I thought you said you could do it ".

"I take it back okay just help me out". he said as sliced the vines away from his neck and then zapped the tree it shrieked and took a step back. and then slammed one of its branches on the ground making Kliwat fly in the air it picked Kliwat up opened its mouth and swallowed and then spit it out with a disgusted expression

Electron laughed hysterically Kliwat glared at him as he looked at himself with disgust " Eww he said he was covered in the tree's saliva and stomach acids it smelled horrible. The tree was about to go for round two but then something made it calm down and go back into the ground.

Who did that said Electron

Well whoever did it I owe them big time said Kliwat

"Why did it just try to eat me and then change its mind". asked Kliwat  

Electron turned around and saw a green haired beauty approaching them she looked at him and waved he blushed and twirled his thumbs she laughed when she saw the state Kliwat was in.

"Maybe it does not like the taste of perverts". said a familiar voice he turned around and saw Gwen -D

"You ".! Kliwat said Coldly

"You are acting very immature I know what I did was messed up but you can at least attempt to forgive me ". she yelled as she stomped her right foot on the ground.

"Never if you are trying to be a clever vixen trying to seduce me into dating you after what you did it is not going to work"! said Kliwat

Gwen - D slapped him and said I sensed you were in danger and I came to help you I guess if the situation were reversed you would do nothing is that it?

Kliwat looked down in shame said "No I would try to save you ".

"I know you hate me but before you shut me out again I need to tell you why that happened". said Gwen -D
"Umm sure maybe some other time Gwen -D right now I need to change my clothes".said Kliwat

Gwen- D blushed and then nodded Electron watched her walk away and said  "You dumped that ".

"She cheated on me twice remember". Kliwat reminded him

"So she is so beautiful". said Electron

She is isn't she thought Kliwat with remorse. She has changed quite a bit there's sometime different about her....she more happy with who she is ..

Kliwat watched her go with a sad expression on his face Electron smiled and said "You still love her don't you".

"I do not know what I feel I want to hate her but at the same time I want to make her happy it is complicated bro what should I do "? he asked him

"Love is about forgiveness if you love her you will forgive her if you don't then maybe you guys were not meant to be ".said Electron

Meanwhile with Heatwave

Heatwave ran through Bite City with a smile, Frostbite was holding his hand wearing a black dress and said " Listen Heat I need to tell you something I can not hide it anymore".

Sure he said out of breath he scanned around to find a place to sit and saw a bench and said "Bingo come on Frost you can tell me what you need to tell me on the bench".

"Okay".  she said Hesitantly as she sat down.

"This is not easy for me to say but I'm not who you think I Am". said Frostbite

"What do you mean"? said Heatwave

Frostbite grabbed her face as if she was removing a mask on halloween there was a swirl of magic energy and in Frostbite's place was Viola his ex.

"You what did you do to me ".said Heatwave

"It was not intended for you it was for your girlfriend she tried to get in the way so I gave her the perfect life serum but you intervened so now you are in a coma instead of her." said Viola

"What the fuck are you talking about I Am not in a Coma ". said Heatwave

Then how do you explain this she said gesturing to Bite city it was empty no people outside except for Viola and Heat. Heatwave started to hyperventilate and said "No you're lying".

"Whoa calm down you are starting to panic". said Viola

"I Am not panicking who said I was panicking it is not like I'm in a coma or anything ".Heatwave
Yelled

"When are you gonna tell Frost ".

"Tell Frost about what ".

"About your exes".said Viola

"I did not tell her because she does not want to date me". Said Heatwave

"What are you talking about the only reason why she does not want to date you is because you whine too much I could see it in her eyes she loves you ". said Viola

"And your point is"? said Heatwave

"She is going to date you". said Viola

"She is ".Said Heatwave with shock

"But first you going to need to toughen up I will train you until you wake up right now your friends are going to the Gateway kingdom to get the flower of reality".

"What but that is a suicide mission only one team in  Bite City has made it out of their alive ".said Heatwave

"She cares about you Heat she wants you to wake up ".said Viola

"But how do I do that". said Heatwave

"You gotta really want it and that is what the training is for". said Viola

"I will do it but I'm not doing it because you said I had to I am doing it for her ".said Heatwave

"Let's shake on it". said Viola with a smile

"Deal"? she asked

"Deal". Heatwave said

Suddenly a shadowy figure ran passed them

"What was that"? said Heatwave

"I do not know it was moving too fast". said Viola

Suddenly a girl appeared

she smiled at Heatwave and said "Hi father.".

Viola and Heatwave looked at each other in shock ....
