ROTG -Taken by Storm chapter 2

A few days went by since Tooth had gone missing, the guardians searched everwhere but she was nowhere to be found, they checked every house in every country, they even checked the Pole,Warren and The Tooth Palace but the fairy was no where to be seen. 

It was as if she vanished out of thin air, Jack was the only one who had seen what happened to her the others were fighting when it happened. Jack tried to tell them but they would not listen. So, out of frustration and anger he went towards Jamie's house and explained the situation after all the kid was pretty smart of his age surely he will have a sloution. 

" Why won't the guardians listen to you"? Jamie asked perplexed by this notion after all the last time the guardians did not listen he ended up with a broken staff and fractured ribs. Jamie was the only one Jack told about that insident with Pitch, the only other person who knew was Tooth.

Because for some reason he found it easier to talk to her then any of the others, "Tooth would have listened. She always listened even if she did not agree with me she seemed to understand who I felt and helped me be better". He thought

"Because, Jamie the situation is very serious we can not afford to sit around chat the only option is search for her as soon as possible but there is no where else to look we searched everywhere". Jack said as he picked up a picture from Jamie's and looked down at it with a bitter sweet smile as he traced the picture with his hands. 

"I know what you could do, you could ask Father time for help you said this guy can manpulate time right, you need a time traveler to  battle another time travler"! Jamie said with excitment as he did a few round of boxer like punches in the air. 

Jack winched and said, "Hardly anyone goes near that grumpy old man, he makes Bunny look like a model citizen".

Jamie frowned and said, "He can't be all bad can he? I mean you would be grumpy too if you have been forced to watch countless wars and selfish volience".

Jack frowned thinking about all the wars he had seen, all those countless deaths his blizzards have accidently caused over the years remind him just how old he was. After witness so much injustice in the world, he became bitter. So, when he was choosen as a guardian, he could believe he would be part of a group of people who allowed all this blood shed happen for so long and let so many children die.

Especially when people believe in them. But, now he realized that guardians did try many times but sometimes, they can't. Jack now knew it was impossible to save every child but they try their best everyday to make sure it can be stopped.

Jack smiled and said, "Well, we do not know if we don't try, what do say little man do you want to come with me"?

Jamie pointed himself with disbelief and said, "Me go with you to see father time"?

Jack nodded and said, "It was your idea, besides he is more willingly to help us if I have a good reason to ask and I think you would be good enough motivation to get Tooth back".

Jack closed his eyes and constrated his ice powers he created a cloud of frost and snow in his hand and gathered it up creating the image of the time cottage and then said,

"Stay back Jamie, I do not know if this will work. I have been trying to do this ever since I seen North use his snowglobes and Bunny use his tunnels. I have been trying to work out a way to transport myself quickly without using wind all the time".

Jamie looked at the snowball with the image of the cottage with amazement and said, "Keep working on it Jack, I believe in you I just know you will get it right some time".

Jack sighed and said, "Well here goes nothing! Jack slammed the snowball on the ground the snow exploded into brusts of frost and snow Jack held Jamie's hand and then shut his eyes when he opened them, he found himself in front of the time cottage. 

Jamie looked around with amazment and said, "Jack, you did it, you finally figured it out I knew you could do it!". Jamie ran around the snow left over from Jack's snowball and played around it with excitment. 

Jack and Jamie landed on the ground with a loud thud, they were in the high moutains surrounded by a large forest far from the nearest city. Jamie looked at the woods in awe, while Jack stood up and brushed off the remaining snow off of his hoodie and knocked on the door. 

Suddenly the door swung open with a loud creak, a man with a long white beard and a tall hat, wearing a robe stepped in front of Jack. He looked like a wizzard or the old wise man seen in movies and cartoons. 

Jack gulped he hoped father time was in one of his good moods, he did not want to have to deal with his attiude right now.

" Jack good to see you boy, I had a feeling you wanted to see me".

"Who is this"? 

Jamie blushed and said, "Jamie Bennett sir, It is nice to meet you".

The man adjusted his glasses with disbelief and shock " Oh my word, you must come in now, come I just made a fresh batch of tea, just make yourself at home'.

He opened the door and let Jack and Jamie in the whole house were filled with clocks through out the whole house all could be heard was the sound of ticking and small clicks of clocks. Some looked brand new some looked very old.

The old man's house reminded Jamie of the old man in pinocchio there were gears and tools everywhere there were even workstations were he could fix and maintain the clocks. 

But, what caught Jamie's eye was a small waterfall outside on the far end of the cottage Jamie's eyes light up like fireworks with wonder and amazment his eyes drawn to the glowing foutain outside. 

" Impressive isn't it humans call it the fountain of youth".  Jamie heard from behind him Jamie looked and nodded Father time looking down at him with a small smile on his lips he guided Jamie towards the living room where there were two couches on either side of the room with two chairs and a small coffee table. 

Jack was sitting down on the left side of the couch in deep thought when Father time came in the room with a tray of tea with one hand and used the other to guide Jamie in the room. 

Jack looked at Jamie and said, "Jamie where were you I was worried".

Jamie frowned with shame " Sorry, Jack but there was something glowing near the front door from the window across the room I just had to see what it was".

Jack smiled and said, "Its okay Jamie, what did you see?"

Jamie 's eyes lit up and said, "It was the foutain of youth it is real, it is isn't that cool"!

Jack chuckled and said, "Its very cool little man".

Father time sat down on the couch on the right while Jack and Jamie took the one on the left.

Father time picked up a cup of tea and raised it to his lips and let out a content sigh from his face, he then put the cup down and then looked at Jack with suspicion  and said, "What are you doing here Frost, I told you I can not give you your sister back".

Jamie looked at Jack with shock. "Sister? Why didn't Jack say he was trying to get his sister back. Doesn't he like me? Doesn't he like being a guardian"?he thought sadly

Jack looked down with grief and sadness at the thought of his forgotten sister that he recently started to remember " Emma.". he thought sadly thinking of his younger sister and how much his time with Jamie reminded him of his sister. But, Jack knew that Tooth was more important then restoring his sister's health. 

" You know she is a sensetive subject for me Ombric, I know your retired but you have to help me, Tooth is missing". Jack said with desperation he had to get his help even if he knew most of his kind hates his guts, he had to, he would rather die then to let Tooth be stuck in a world she did not know. 

The Old man raised his eyebrow at Jack and said, "I know. How is that my problem, I do not want anything to do with this battle, I told North I do not support volience. Ever since Katherine and Nightlight disapeared things have never been the same for me".

"And with the golden age gone I no longer have any purpose, people just do not believe  anymore, I could not take seeing the world tear its self apart without santoff claussen I have nothing that I care about".

Jack growled and raised his staff and and slammed it down on the ground the wind whipping through the windows forcing them open then walked up to Ombric and said,

"Listen here, Tooth is the most kindest, most beautiful being alive not only that she is the one of the only things I have left, without Jamie here and the other guardians I would still be alone with no memory of who I was before, I tried to go to you.

But, you pushed me away and said,' Time had a different path for me'. Now you have an oppurnity to help again, and you are shooting me down again'!

For a moment Ombric looked at Jack and saw North in the boy he remembered how desperate North was to save Katherine, and now it is like time is repeating again. 

" Jack I'm sorry but if Tooth is missing you should have looked harder I deal with issues of time and space this issue does not concern me". Ombric said as he stood up to his full height and stared down at Jack both looking at each other with irration and hatred. 

" Do you still hate for making that blizzard in Santoff Claussen that was centuries ago, I told you I did not mean it, I could not control my powers back then but now I can! North and I can help rebuild it just help us, please". Jack said with desperation as he went down on his knees crying his eyes out worried he might loss Tooth forever. 

The memories of Tooth flooding through his mind he could not take it, he started sobbing into his hands as he remembered her touch, her pressance he did not realize how important she was how often he visted her and seeked comfort from her after he and Bunny quarreled how much fun they had visting Jamie and Sophie. 

The one memory that stuck with him was when they were laying on the grass near the lake in her palace staring at the clouds, Jack glanced at her and gazed at her in awe. He remembering thinking how beautiful she was when the light hit her feathers how her eyes would light up whenever she saw him. Sure, her eyes lit up around the guardians but when she with him her eyes sparkled.

Tooth glanced at him and looked at him with suprise but then blushed when she realized Jack was looking at her," Jack what is wrong"?

Jack turned away from her his cheeks heating up with embrassment he hated himself for being caught staring she probably thought he was some creep. He knew she was much older than him but he did not care, he thought she was pretty, smart, and funny Tooth was amazing. 

" Its nothing just thinking". Jack said as he looked back at her, he looked into her eyes. his cheeks flushed and his heart beating as he gazed into the eyes of a ferice fairy queen. 

Tooth smiled and said, "What are you thinking about, it wouldn't be about me now would it Jack"? she said playfully she already knew it was about her because he was staring at her as she gave him a playful smirk that made Jack look at her in awe.

Jack nodded playing along and said, "Yeah I guess it does have something to do with you".

Tooth smirked and said, "Oh really, are you going to tell me or do I have to guess"?

Jack rolled over on the grass to face her there faces inches away from each other he stroked her cheek and then laughed and said, "Okay, it has everything to do with you. Tooth you are amazing and I'm not just talking about your looks. I'm talking about everything you do, you are so kind, so beautiful and I do not care if you think I'm some idiotic boy with a silly crush I just want you to know I really like you".

Tooth took his hand as they layed down and then leaned in and kissed him softly on the lips it only lasted a few seconds but, to Jack it felt longer Jack looked at her with shock. Tooth leaned into his shoulder and whispered as if telling a secret " Don't worry Jack I like you too".

Jack's only regret was never telling Tooth how he felt, he did not want her to get hurt, he did not want her to be a target. But, now he wished he told her. Jack cried as a image of Tooth came to his mind. " Tooth I love you" he whispered under his breath. 

Ombric stared down at Jack as he cried with his hands covering his eyes. If he was how he was before he would have helped. But, Ombric had changed, the world had became cold,decetful and selfish. Ombric had been alive for a long time he had seen many evil things. 

" I did not want to believe it, but Jack was right you are a jerk all you care about yourself no wonder Jack did not want to come here". Jamie said with anger as he pointed at Ombric with disgust and rage. 

"Listen here Boy you can not come in and"- 

Jamie stood up and said, "No, you listen without Tooth the guardians are unblanced without Tooth the children will start to stop believing.  Children will no longer have any happy or important memories of their childhood to look back on, do you want to be responsible for the misery of millions of children".

Ombric frowned and said, "Fine, I will help but I doubt I will have anything powerful enough to pull something out of another universe like that, it might take months maybe even years to pull her out".

Jamie shook his head and said, "Its not good enough I want you to fix this within a few weeks at the latest, Tooth is not just a guardian to Jack, she is important to him please".

Jamie bent down and hugged Jack and said, "Do not worry Jack we will get Tooth back I promise".

Tooth winched when she opened her eyes the light was bright, Tooth looked around wondering where she was. Her mind wondering as she thought about her encounter with Jace. Did that really happen or was did Sandy knock her out? Was she in the North pole being treated for her wounds? 

Tooth sat up and gasped when she realized she was in a palace covered in ice and snow. Tooth realized that what had happened yeterday really happened. It was not a dream, she really was in an alternate universe. Tooth gasped when she saw the swarms of snowfaires trails of frost and snow as they flew around the palace. 

So, this is where Frostianna lives its beautiful Tooth thought with amazment it looked just like the Tooth palace if it were made of ice, the enter castle looked like it was made of glass. The walls shivered like diamonds Tooth had never seen anything like it, it was amazing. 

Suddenly there was a knock on the door Tooth got up towards the door and slowly opened it when she opened it. She saw a fairy but it was not a half hummbird warrior woman like her. Unlike Tooth she had a more human like apperance. Standing there with her wings folded down and her large expressive eyes narrowing towards Tooth. Tooth did not know why but there was something famillar about the fairy. 

She was standing there with a blank expression, her body language just screamed Diva she was chewing gum popping bubbles, she adjusted her glasses and said, "Your majesty I have my quota for you to look at".

Tooth coughed and said, "Thank you, uh..what is your name again."

The fairy rolled her eyes and said, "Did you hit a billboard in the feild again, my name is Tonya your  assistant ring any bells"?she asked with annoyance ans she tapped her feet with impatience. 

Tooth blushed and said, "Sorry I guess I'm not myself lately". 

Tonya looked at her with worry and said, "Frost I'm sorry I ran off the other day you were right, I should not have tried to open up old wounds I know you still like him but, he is not who he used to be".

Tooth stared at the smart alec fairy for a moment, there was something famillar about her but Tooth could not put her finger on it, Tooth flew in front of the woman staring deep in her eyes with deep thought.

Tonya was suprised by how close got but did not say anything about she was woried that Frostianna had really hurt herself. She is acting like this is the first time she has seen her. Tonya pushed her glasses up and tried to remain still not wanting to let Frostianna know how uncomfortable she was. 

Tooth gasped when she nodded that Tonya had two different colored eyes one of them was blue and the other was purple. " Baby Tooth"? Tooth said with shock as she looked at the assistant. 

Tonya frowned and said, "I do not go by that stupid pet name anymore we are not kids anymore sister I know you are still  jealous I got more of dad's human DNA".

Tooth looked at her , ""How is Jace did Mother Nature take care of him"? she asked her with hope, Tooth knew that Jace was not truly evil he himself had to see that but how could she possibly prove that without getting in trouble with the other guardians?

Alternate Baby Tooth was her biological sister in this universe, it felt strange knowing that she had a sister. Even though it would only be for a certain amount of time she could not help but feel happy, overprotective, and touched. Everything a sister should feel towards their younger sibling was there cascading out of her heart like a river of feelings. 

Tonya sighed and said, "She is your best firend she would not harm your boyfirend if it meant betraying your trust you have nothing to worry about".

Tooth looked at her with shock and said, "Mother Nature is my best firend what about Sandy and the others"?

Tonya smirked and said, "They are your friends too, however Mother Nature has been your friends from the very beginning she was the first face you saw as a spirt. They helped make me more human as well".

Tooth gasped and said, "Mother Nature did that to you"? Tooth did not know if she should be angry or amazed that Mother Nature was capable of changing the form of another living thing.

Tooth could not believe that Mother Nature would dare touch any of her faires especially baby tooth however, by the way Tonya talked it seemed like she had allowed Emily to change her into a more human like appearance.

Tonya laughed and said, "Do not look so upset, I asked for it, Mother Nature took a bit of your blood and used a old spell that turned me into a human fairy instead of a humming bird and because they used your blood that made me your sister I have been like this for three centuries".

Tooth smiled and hugged Tonya and said, "You know you do not have to act so tough all the time its okay to be soft around me I will not judge you Baby to- I mean Tonya".

Tonya nodded and put her head on Tooth's chest, the cool touch of her sister's feathers made her think of when she first transformed into this form and Frostiana had rushed to hug her knowing she could finally hold someone in her arms without being walked through.

She was Frostianna's pillar for these past centuries Frostianna was only  a spirt for ten years when she got turned into her sister but she could tell that even though she had still been lonely she had always felt like something was missing. 

Tonya was determined to help her sister get Jace back no matter what.

Jace had stayed on the summer side of Mother Nature's forest for a three days but he was still amazed at the amount of energy and life Mother Nature's helpers had. He would watch the elfs move around and keep the world in order. To make sure everything had perfect blance. 

Jace gripped the necklace in his hands and held it close to his chest, hot tears spilling down his cheeks tear of soot,smoke and cinders fell down to the ground. He should have tried harder to fight off the voice. 

" You cannot fight me because you are weak, you do not deserve to be happy you are evil and nobody loves you just give up". 

Jace growled at the voice and said, "Shut up I'm not in the mood to deal with you, you have taken everything from made me think that I'm sort of monster!But, when Frostianna is around I know I'm not. I will not let you hurt me anymore".

" Are you disobeying me we had a deal boy, I take over whenever I wish and I do not touch your firends or your girlfirend, or should I say your ex-girlfirend since you have nobody but your pitful existance"! The voice yelled out with fury making his head pulse with sharp pain. 

Jace took a deep breath and thought, "Remember the training with Mother Nature focus, take in the good energy and dispell the voice with postive memories". 

The first memory he could ever think of that made Jace truly happy was seeing his little sister for the first time. Seeing my mother craddle his sister in her arms and let him hold her and him vowing to protect her even if it kiled him. But, the memory was not happy enough because the the sharp pain in his head kept hurting. He needed something more powerful.

Jace blushed when the other memory was surfaced. It was the first time he and Frostianna had kissed, hugged and promised they would always protect each other no matter what.

Frostianna promised she would find a cure to defeat the voice. That was the last time he had seen her until three days ago that lead to the insident with the guardians. He did not want hurt them, he did not want the voice to dictate his action anymore he will prove to Bunny and the other guardians that he was still good. 

" I will defeat you because, I love Frostianna and want to be with her, I want my firends back and I want you to be gone from my head forever!" Jace yelled as he thought of more memories with Frostianna and his sister, memories of pranking Bunny .

Absorbing forest fires to protect children, and heating children up for the winter by lighting a small fire for them, making sure they were protected even though they could not see him. 

The voice laughed and said, Nice try boy but it will not wor-suddenly the voice let out a cry of pain, it was working!

"Impossible"! the voice said with shock and anger.

Jace fell down on the ground of the grass and fell down on his back staring at the clouds with sweat dripping down his face, he panted and then looked down at his hand with amazment and said, "I did it"!

Jace knew that that the voice was not gone , but he was able to control his inner rage, and soon he will be able to make the voice work for him instead of him working for the voice. He will be able to turn his rage into a weapon against people who want to hurt children. 

Jace knew it would not make up for all the wrong things he had done, but he was determined to change so he can be with Frostianna again. So, he can become a guardian and protect the children. They had forgiven Pitch so they had to forgive him too.
