NaLu- Story time? 4 : Transformation

Decided to not only incorporate Lucy's book but journal entries!

Hey, it is called Story Time? We get to see things through our favorite fire breathing dragon slayer as well,  I go back and forth between Natsu and Lucy.

Chapter 3.5 - Side story: Natsu and Lucy journals- Lucy and Natsu write in their journals after going home from the guild.

The diary tales of a dragon Entry # 345

Dear, Lucy  today is the day, where I finally tell you how I feel, I remembered when I first saw you in Hargon you have grown a lot since then in more ways then one! I'm not being perverted either, I do not mean your body I mean in beauty and spirit.

Spirit Ha-Ha get it ! Because you are a celestial mage? Okay, Okay I will be serious this time. Really, I'm going to be  serious do not laugh!

On second thought, go ahead and laugh. Because, I think it would be easier to say this to you if you did.

 I love your laugh, I think you should always smile, because to me they are the stars that guide me home after those long missions.

Sorry, if that sounded too corny. But, before you came a long, I did not even think about kissing a girl let alone breaking into her house to spoon with her. But, when I met you I changed. I could not help it, I was drawn to you from the very moment I saved you from that Bora guy.

I knew when I saw you,that you were this amazing strong women that would do anything to protect the people you care about and if there is one thing I admire it is bravery.

I can almost feel your impatient look as I write this, so I will get right to the point, I know I have been acting weird lately so you deserve to know the truth. 

The truth is, I think....I love you, I think that I have for a while now, even before the seven year gap. I think I have liked you since I saved you from Phantom and you fell off that tower. You could have called out anybody and you picked me. 

You should have seen you when you got taken I actually dragged a Phantom member and burned his face and demanded him to tell me where you were. I was confused as to why I was so upset.

At first I thought that it was because you were a member of Fairy Tail too but, I realized that I would never had been this angry if any one else was taken. 

It was crazy, at how enraged I would have killed someone if I did not find you I would have stopped at nothing until I did. And I'm not ashamed of saying that. 

And even if I try to hide it, I find you very attractive and every time I walk in on you or see you naked I just want to stop and stare at you because to me you are a  goddess.

The reason why I act like a idiot and pretend not to be affected is because I'm scared of what you might think if I stared at you like some love struck idiot, I'm afraid you only see me as your friend. 

The day I asked you to call Virgo to dig up treasure and you dressed in that black dress. I could barely look at you without looking at you with wonder and awe. But, I knew when you slapped me in the face I knew I hid it well. 

The real reason I had wanted you to call Virgo was so she could maybe, get me some nice clothes so I could go on a date with you, I was a stuttering mess and I messed up I should have told you the truth, I should have just told you that I was into then. 

Over the years I have learned to put on this dense facade to help cope with my pain of losing Ingeel and Lisanna and now, its become so ingrained in my life style that it has become a part of me.

But, when you are around I do not feel like a idiot, I feel like I could do anything I set my mind to, I know I'm not all that smart. Not very many people would put their fate in a reckless idiot.

But, you do not look at me like the others do, you do not not see someone who just rushes ahead, I can tell you see the real Natsu Dragneel not what I want the others to see.

For me its easier to act dense then to man up and tell you how I feel, I do not want to admit it to anyone especially to that Ice bastard. But, you are very special to me, you are the most important person in my life. 

I'm to afraid to get attached you in fear of you leaving me like Ingeel did, its safer for both us . Because, if you become my girlfriend you become a target just like I would be for you. 

And I know you can handle yourself, you are strong Lucy, very strong the amount of bruises that your Lucy kicks have caused is proof of that. But, I still worry about you. 

I know this is a a lot to take in, but when Asuka  asked me to kiss you and you put Happy in between us, I felt depressed and sad I wondered why you would do that?

Do you not find me attractive  am I not good enough for you? What was so bad about kissing me is it my ashy smell? Is it the fact that my body runs so hot that kissing me would be like drinking hot sauce?

No, that's not it because you had admitted to me that you love spicy food? So, why were you just embarrassed?

Do you think I only wanted to kiss you because Asuka asked? I would have done it even if she didn't ask because you looked pretty damn beautiful that day. 

I could go on all night, the real truth is after I met you I  went through a amazing transformation, I have fallen for you and I hope that tomorrow when you tell the next chapter of your book that there are more moments between us to support the theory that you like me back. 

Please, please like me back, I find it hard to go back to my house at the end of the day because you are home to me. That is why I sneak into your apartment every night. I love you Lucy.

Lucy

Dear Mom and Dad,  I read another chapter today, and Natsu said he wanted to talk to me? I'm so scared what, is going to happen? 

I'm afraid he is going to tell me to stop reading the story because he loves Lisanna instead. But, I can't be sure, I think I love him. We had been through a lot together, and I can not deny what I feel anymore. 

After all he had uprooted the rainbow Sakura for me, saved me from Phantom, Future Rogue and you should have seen his face when that girl threw me away at the Magic games like I was trash he was so upset.

And although I do not want to admit it but, when he fights with that intense expression on his face. Its kinda Sexy. I think that Natsu is so hot, and its not because he uses fire magic. 

Its because, he is such a kind, innocent soul. He reminds me of what my childhood used to be like before I lost you mom and I know that you might be watching over me. Hopefully, you approve of him, I knew you would have loved him mom  Natsu is so special. 

 He is the fire that guided me through the darkness of father's death.

He even went with me to see you dad, and he let me cry on him saying words of comfort not even caring that I got his outfit wet. 

Oh Mavis his outfit! Whenever he wears anything that shows his chiseled chest, I find myself wanting to drool, his abs are so well toned sometimes I want to run my hands over them. 

I know this is unbecoming of someone who was raised as a heiress but, those strict ways of thinking is the reason I decided to leave, I know I should have at least left a note father it was rude of me, I just wanted to be free to make my own choices. 

I'm so glad that you came around in the end dad.  I miss you terribly I spent most of my life hating you for ignoring me and hiring Phantom to attack me and my friends.

When you finally died I was devastated in many ways I still am if it weren't for Natsu I would still be in morning over your passing dad.

The seven year gap made me realize that time is short, your death made me realize that the guild life is dangerous and I could die at anytime I should not hide how I feel for him. Because, if I wake up one day and he is gone?

What if he never goes over to my apartment? Never bugs me for missions or to go fishing with him and Happy? What if he decided to move on to Lisanna? I can not play hard to get anymore, I was trying not love him.

I  tried to love other guys but none of my boyfriends made me feel as special as Natsu does, he is just amazing. A lot of girls around the kingdom search their entire lives for a man like him. 

Handsome, Dedicated, protective. very, protective, brave, Strong and he might be a little dense but he is not dumb. I have seen him surprise a lot of people with his fighting skills and whit. 

After a dating a few guys it is clear I can not stop thinking about him he goes everywhere I go. He is always on my mind. Even when I hold hands with the other guys I always imagine me and Natsu. 

I have decided not to hide anymore tomorrow I'm going to tell him how I feel, I'm tired of punching him or pushing him away I want to be with him, whenever he is around I feel stronger. I want to be stronger for him. 

He makes me want to change hopefully, I will be able to transform for him. To become a powerful enough mage to protect him.

I'm going to train hard and try to get more keys. The dragon has saved the princess for too long its time for the princess to save her dragon.

Chapter 4 : Transformation 

Natsu quickly left his house early in the morning  to tell Lucy how he felt, he was a bit nervous because after all these years he finally stopped hiding the truth.

As he ran towards the guild the smile never leaving his face, he was finally going to tell her, he wanted to scream it through out the guild to all of Fiore that he, Natsu Dragneel loved Lucy Heartfilla. 

He was rushing through Mangolga looking for some gifts for Lucy. He could not just ask her on a date without giving her anything. Lucy deserved something special.

Lucy is not rich anymore and can not always afford nice things it would be nice to give her something beautiful to let her know just how he cared .  So, if he gives it to her her eyes will sparkle and light up like stars and she will have that adorable smile on her face reflecting her beautiful white teeth. She might  even say yes!

But, as Natsu went from store to store he found himself disappointed and sad there were many beautiful things but none of them seemed fit for his Lucy. Nothing really caught his eye or made him stand their in awe at the thought of Lucy having the items that he looked at. 

Natsu was going near a jewelry store getting very desperate for a good gift for Lucy he walked into the store amazed by all the sparking gems the shapes the colors. Where did he even start when it came to looking at jewelry anyways?  Maybe, he should have asked Levy for help she is Lucy's best friend after all she could have helped him. 

Just when he was about to give up he spotted it. The gift that caught his eye, it was a locket with a image of a golden key being protected by a red dragon, the dragon was wrapped around the key as if to reassure the key that it would always be safe, and that is exactly how he always wants Lucy to feel when he was around him safe. 

 "Excuse me, how much is the locket"? Natsu asked nervously as he scratched the back of his head trying not to look up at the cashier in fear of him making fun of Natsu but instead the cashier grinned as he dusted off the counter. 

The man had  pink salmon hair like him he  in the back was a long black haired woman. Who was also smirking. Natsu did not know why but their was something familiar about the couple that owned the store. He could not imagine why even their scent was familiar to Natsu as if he had awakened a deep memory.

But, Natsu shrugged off the feeling thinking that he was working to hard at the guild and needed a break for a while. " Natsu, you must be really tired...this is the first time you went into this store"! he thought to himself. 

This jewelry store was one of the stores that was built when they were frozen for seven years. So naturally with half of Fairy tail frozen most of the guild did not even set foot in this place. Natsu looked around the store some more when he noticed something in the corner it was a photo.

But, it was old and frayed a part of the photo was torn in half so only the couple could be seen it seemed like there were other people in the photo but they were ripped out or cut off the photo. Even the part with the family name was torn off but there was still some words left on it. Natsu squinted his eyes to try to read the faded text.

Dragnel? Natsu pondered by the looks of the photo a letter was missing before Natsu could ask why the photo looked so old if the couple was so young he heard a voice behind him. 

" The portrait is beautiful isn't it"? The man said as he placed his hands on Natsu's shoulders the gesture made Natsu feel uncomfortable yet, a part of it seemed familiar but he could not imagine why. Ingneel was the only father figure he ever had right? 

" Yeah it is, what happened to the other part of the photo"? Natsu asked curiously he was eager to find out more about the photo he almost forgot the real reason he was here.

"Lucy! I have to get back to her! He thought remembering his true purpose for being here. As if snapping out of a dream Natsu shakes his head and blinks his eyes and sets the photo back down where he found it and walks back towards the counter. 

The man sighed and said, " We lost the other part in the fire, I guess we so focused on saving our kids that we had let the other half get scorched it happened a long time ago". 

Natsu titled his head to the side unsure if he believed his story it seemed all too convenient. A Fire huh? Natsu bent down to sniff around the photo before picking it up it did not smell like fire or ash for that matter. Maybe the man was too heartbroken and did not want to remember what really happened. 

" Doesn't smell like it was on fire besides look at the shape of the edges this page was definitely tor-

"So, you asked about the locket its 30,000 Jewel its on sale but I think we can make a special discount for the legendary Natsu the Slamander of Fire tail"! the woman cuts off before Natsu could finish his sentance. 

"Its on sale"? The man questioned stupidly as he looks at his wife with disbelief and nervousness as he glanced over at her she placed her hands on her hips and nudged at Natsu who was still standing by the counter with impatience and boredom pretending to be interested in all the other items in the store.

He picked up a random ring to look at it. Natsu winched when he almost dropped a whole row of rings on the floor he carefully caught them just before they could fall and placed the ring in his hand back on the shelf and continued to look around. 

"We can't have him know, its to risky we already bent the rules and asked if we could come to here its safer for him if he doesn't know he said the woman whisper in the background.

Natsu rolled his eyes at their ignorance. They had heard that he was called the Salamander of Fire Tail but haven't heard that dragon slayers had super hearing? He could hear every word and judging by their tone they knew him.  But, Natsu could not recall ever meaning them.  

" Fine, come here Natsu we will give you a special discount good luck with Lucy she is a special one treat her nicely okay"? The man said playfully

Natsu blushed and said, " H-Here 30,000 jewel I have to go thanks"! he said shyly as he rushed out the door. Natsu blushed and wondered if the store people knew how he felt then did everyone else notice too? He wondered if he had been obvious during the magic games.

Now, that he looked at the locket it noticed that it appeared to be made especially for him and Lucy. The key looked like a zodiac key and off to the side it looked like his scarf. Just who were these people? Natsu wondered

The man chuckled when he saw the surprised look on Natsu's face as his face became red as he payed for the locket stuttering out his gratitude as he paid and quickly rushed out the door. 

The man and the woman leaned up against each other as they watched Natsu run off with a smile on their face. The man sighed as he took something out of his pocket it was the other half of the photo the man looked down at it to reveal a young pink haired boy and a young black haired boy. 

The man smiled and thought, "Good luck,....Son".

Just like that the store and the couple vanished without a trace.

"Hey everyone I'm here"! Natsu yelled forcing everyone to turn and look at him. Natsu smiled as everyone greeted him he continued to walk until he found himself at the bar where Lucy was talking to Mira with her storybook tugged under her chest as she talked. 

As soon as his eyes gazed at Lucy he felt his heart beating faster and faster somehow he manged to slowly walk up and grab a stool, he wrapped his arms around her for a while he decided to not say anything, he liked the feel of her body against his arm. 

But, after a while he realized that if he did not say anything Lucy would be talking to Mira all day so Natsu had to get into character as he got really close to Lucy's ear and yelled out as loud as he could.

" Hey Lucy, what are you talking about"?!

"N-Natsu when did you get here? Lucy shuttered out when she noticed that Natsu had his arms wrapped around her.

Natsu could not help but smile and admire her beauty she was so cute when she got all embarrassed like that. "So, Luce are you going to read a chapter today or should I start telling some of the story".

Mira squealed and said, " That sounds like a cute idea Natsu we had heard plenty about Princess Lucy but, we might be edger to see some of the story through the Flame dragon prince's point of view!"

Lucy shook her head and said, " Nope, I'm good. Besides, I have a feeling that this chapter might lead to something good. I'm just glad the heatwave is over I can finally go back on missions without feeling like a Popsicle"!

Natsu sighed with disappointment he could feel the locket burning a whole in his pocket he got her matching earrings as well, the jewel store owners were surprisingly generous. Usually, when Natsu enters stores the owners gets scared of their store getting destroyed and loosing profits but this couple seemed to welcome him. 

" Lucy I want to ask you something". Natsu said nervously as he scratched the back of his head, he had hoped that Lucy liked this, he knew she abandoned a life of luxury and riches to become a member of Fairy Tail but, he felt like she deserved this. She deserved something nice every once and a while. 

Lucy looked at him with confusion and but then gasped with realization and said, "That's right! You wanted to talk to me about something, what is it Natsu are you okay? You sounded pretty serious yesterday". 

Natsu blushed and then cleared his throat and said, " Well, Lucy I have been doing thinking and I-Well you see we have been through a lot together so, I wanted to tell you that-that"....He found his words dying in his throat, why was it so hard to tell her how he felt? 

Lucy gasped her eyes wide with shock and her eyes twinkling with anticipation Could he really be confessing to me? She had been mistaken in the past when Mira had thought Natsu liked her back when she first joined and now, Natsu is acting nervous again. 

He was even Sweating! Natsu the flame dragon slayer was sweating! Even though Lucy desperately wanted to know what he was saying, she could not help but think how adorable Natsu was being. He was so cute when he blushed. 

" Listen Lucy I-" Before Natsu could finish he was hit with a barrage of ice attacks from Gray Natsu tried to stay focused on confessing but Gray was egging him on again and Natsu had a hard time resisting a challenge. 

Natsu was trying to be a bit more softer towards Gray to make sure that the locket did not get ruined. He shoved Gray out of the way and then carefully placed the locket around his neck covering it with his scarf not wanting Lucy to see it before he confessed. 

Gray noticed Natsu's softer punches and then walked over towards him not realizing that his shirt and pants were long since deserted during their fight. He gasped when he saw something glitter and shine beneath his scarf. ]

It was not all that noticeable he hid it very well but when Nastu moved a few inches he noticed a small locket around his neck. Gray noticed it had some designs on it but, he could not make it out very well. 


" Hey flame brain what's that"? He called out a bit too loudly making Natsu quickly rush over and cover Gray's mouth before they drew too much attention. 

Natsu punches Gray out cold before he could take the locket a way and slowly walks towards Lucy with a hopeful expression on his face.

Lucy was talking to Levy about her book, she was thinking of turning it into a series of books rather then just one. Because, Lucy believed the world should know about the story of the dragon and the princess.  

Just then someone wrapped their arms around her waist it felt nice and warm and for a moment Lucy felt safe and their was only one person that made her feel like that. "Natsu you are back what is it you wanted to say"? 

Natsu groaned and said, "How did you know it was me I was trying to surprise you but I guess it didn't work". He said with embarrassment as he scratched the back of his head. 

"Okay, Lucy I- I like you a lot ever since I saved you from phantom I started to think about you everyday and so, I know you do not get to have nice things anymore so I got this for you". He shuttered out as he turned his head away as he handed her the locket afraid to see the rejection on her face. 

Lucy gasped with shock when she looked at the locket it had a dragon protecting a zodiac key and it shimmered and sparkled like diamonds how could Natsu afford something like this. It was beautiful Lucy was so captivated by the locket it took her a while to realize what Natsu said but, she understood it she could not help but feel extremely happy. 

She thought that Natsu was too childish to feel love but she could see now that Natsu had liked her from the very beginning. It took her a while to catch up, she had denied time and time again, that the bond they shared was more then just friendship now she willing to give them a shot. 

Natsu gathered his courage to look up at her expression she was surprised his plan worked Natsu had a bitter sweet smile on his face as he watched her brown eyes sparkle as she looked at the locket.  

Natsu sighed and said, "I would understand if you do not feel the same, I know we are just teammates but, I think we have potential to be more, I want to be more Lucy and I hope you do too". 

Suddenly Lucy hugged him out of nowhere she hugged so hard that they almost fell backwards on to the ground. Natsu was a little worried when he saw she was crying, but then when she lived her head he noticed a smile on her face. "Natsu I like you too". 

Natsu smiled with excitement and said, " You do"!?

Lucy nodded and smiled. 

Natsu laughed with excitement as he spun her around and then then set her down to the ground and then said, "Lucy will you go on a date with me?"

Lucy smiled and said, "Yes, after I read the chapter to everyone okay". 

Natsu groaned and said, "Alright". Normally he would be excited at the thought of Lucy reading her story to everyone to learn more about the Flame prince and The star princess but right now he would rather go on a date with her. 

Lucy smiled and said,"Gather around everyone this will be a longer story reading for you all I hope you enjoy it".

There was so many outfits in the store and for princess Lucy it was hard to resist getting the more expensive clothes. But, Natsu remained firm and said, "Princess you are here to get peasant clothes not ballroom dresses you choose Fairy Tail remember and once you join you will find it is hard to go back". 

Lucy nodded and said, "Okay, I understand by the way you do not have  to call me princess anymore you could just call me Lucy". She said with a hint of a flirtatious smile on her face as she picked out a outfit and went to go try it on. 

 Lucy did not miss the surprised look on Natsu's face and the blush as she closed the door to try on a plain brown shirt and black pants.  When she looked in the mirror she smiled triumphantly when she noticed that it fit perfectly and accented her curves nicely. 

Lucy wondered how Natsu would react after all he was her fiancee right? He has shown time and time again that he finds her attractive. Of course every time she brings it up he dodges the question. Which leads her to think he has no idea that he ogles her when he thinks she not looking or he is a clueless idiot. 

Or he is a clever boy pretending to be a clueless idiot that has no idea she knows that he looks. Either way, she will get him to admit it one of these days. Normally when a boy looks at her in that way, she would have felt creeped out and ordered the guards to throw them out. But, with Natsu it was different. She did not know why but she was attracted to him. 

She opened the door and prepared to see Natsu's reaction. Natsu looked bored sitting at the bench waiting for her when he noticed the squeak of the changing center moving and then looked up at her.

His expression could only be described as love struck. He had a hand on his cheeks and his eyes had a far off expression as if daydreaming. Suddenly he realized Lucy was looking at him and then shook it off and then coughed "You look nice Lu-Lucy". he shuttered out. 

He had no idea why he was acting this way he never showed any sign of being attracted to anyone before. But, with Lucy could not help himself she was the most beautiful girl he had ever seen. He knew when he saw her he had to have her. 

Lucy smirked and thought .".Got you"... He was  a clever boy trying to look like a idiot. She could see that he liked her too. That he was willing to give their marriage a shot. 

Suddenly the happy atmosphere was ruined when Four figures bursted into the store. Lucy quickly pulled out her keys while Natsu ignited his flames at the four hooded figures. 

Natsu looked over at Lucy and said, "Lucy get back, I got this". 

Lucy looked at him with worry and said, "Are you sure, I can help"!?

Suddenly one of the figures removed their hood. She had long blue hair and deep blue eyes and said, "I'm Juvia Lockser and we are the element four Juvia suggests you hand over the money quickly before I slice you in half". 

" He's not going hand you anything  Fire dragons"- Natsu was cut off by being punched in the gut by a giant iron pole in the gut. But, he quickly recovered and did a front flip before he could fall to the ground. 

Natsu growled and said, " Hey what's the big idea who are you"?! 

The masked man snickered under his hood and then removed it to reveal black steel Gajeel a infamous bandit. He started terrorizing innocent people in his own kingdom his father had reluctantly ordered a bounty to bring him home. 

Lucy cried when she saw who it was. No wonder their Kingdom was having a hard time winning the war against Phantom. She had a double agent pose as one her knights all this time. The amount of secrets she would tell to both Gajeel and Gray was too many. How many times had she doomed her own kingdom by talking to this man?

"Lucy get down"! Natsu shouted out in panic as he grabbed Lucy just in time before a beam of metal could hit her. Lucy gasped with shock, her hands shaking as her fingers hovered over her key ring. 

"Phew Thanks Natsu, without you I could have been seriously hurt". Lucy said with relief as she stood up and then pulled a key off her ring.

"Open gate of the bull:Taurus"! Lucy called out as she held out her key in a cloud of smoke Taurus appears with his axe swinging towards Gajeel but he blocks it and smirks at Lucy before he disappeared. Lucy gasped looking around the room trying to find him. 

Taurus frowned trying to keep Lucy close to make sure she was safe, but before he could strike he was stabbed in the gut with a iron spike. He took to much damage and vanished back into the Spirit world. 

Suddenly someone grabbed her from behind and hoisted her over their shoulder, Lucy tried to break free from their hold but, their grip was too strong. 

"Fire dragon Iron fist"! Natsu called out with furious desperation as he punched Gajeel so hard that he fell to the opposite side of the room.  and quickly grabbed Lucy's hand pulling her away from the store. 

"Natsu where are we going"! Lucy said with surprise and wonder as Natsu pulled her through the village Gajeel, Juvia and the other bandits not too far behind them. 

"We are going back to the guild, they might need our help all of Phantom might be there and they are going to need all the help they can get"!

But, by the time they made it to the guild it was too late, the place was destroyed millions of iron beams were shot throughout the guild. The other members of Fairy Tail went underground the guild to avoid being seriously injured. 


Mira frowned and said, "Master what do we do now"?

Markov growled and said, "We will go to Phantom and teach them a lesson, that Fairy Tail should not be messed with. Whatever they are after it can not be good. 

Lucy frowned as she stood in front of them and said, " I think I know, Phatom only became a problem after I ran away with Natsu. I should not have left this is all my fault". 

Makarov stroked his mustache and said, " I see this is very troubling but, I think we know what to do". 

Lucy lowered her head with shame and said, " Yes I will turn myself in and surrender in hopes my father never hires another Rogue guild". 

Natsu looked back and forth at Marov and Lucy and then growled "No way am I letting you go back to that hell hole again Lucy you are a member of Fairy Tail now and anyone who hurts a member of our guild has to answer to me"!

Makarov sighed and shook his head and said, " Natsu you idiot you did not give a chance to finish! What I was about to say we will fight for you Lucy you deserve to be here as much as anyone else anyone who thinks otherwise does not deserve to be a member of this guild".

"I don't, in fact I do not think the princess knows enough about magic to even have those keys"..a voice said from within the crowd.

Makarov sighed with shame. It is hard to believe he was related to this bitter hearted power hungry young man. But, sadly he was. 

Natsu frowned and said, " How dare you say that about Lucy do not listen to him Lucy".

Lucy frowned and said, "Don't worry I won't just who is he anyway"?

Makarov frowned and said, " Lucy I would like you to meet my grandson Laxus". 

Everyone gasped discovering that Laxus was back from his mission so early his other friends snickered and laughed when he made his remark about Lucy's skills. While Lucy clenched her fists together in defiance not wanting to give them the satisfaction of her tears. 

Natsu frowned when he noticed how sad Lucy looked he took one of her clenched fists in his hand and squeezed his hand with hers and shook his head at Laxus as he cackled with the rest of his lapdogs. 

Natsu could understand why Markov let someone like Laxus stay in the guild. He got they were related but Laxus was nothing like Makarov he was vicious cruel and twisted. Natsu agreed power is important but, not when it hurts others without mercy. It is those kind of people he could not stand, he definitely did not deserve to be part of Fairy Tail.
